Harvard Med School lectures released as podcasts

Via the consistently amazing Jeff Jarvis comes news that Harvard Med School lectures will be released as podcasts. Very cool. I think Tom should try and get a college here to do the same. Or maybe Fiona or TJ could release their lectures as podcasts? Up for the challenge folks? 🙂

    That’s very interesting because I think it’s illegal for students to tape their lectures here in Ireland. Obviously this is an initiative coming from Harvard’s governing body and not its student body. Maybe that makes it different or maybe there aren’t rules against taping your lectures in the US. Come to think of it, somebody told me once about their Monday morning lecture hall basically just being made up of the lecturer and a hundred quietly whirring tape recorders!
