In France, there are nice handy maps provided by the government telling you where the cameras are. There are signs 200 metres in front of you telling you that you are approaching cameras. When you pass them, you cannot miss them.
I’ve written quite a lot on this, but they still collect millions in fines, but additionally, their accident fatality rate has fallen dramatically. In other words, it can be done.
Where can I sign up to host a speed camera? I have an excellent bi-directional line-of-sight on a residential road that is used for safe passage at 100 kph by seven out of every 10 vehicles that pass by.
