Yeah, there seem to be a lot of assholes threatening legal action on the Net these days.

Actually I was just looking at the virgin threads and thinking of taking a screen shot but you bet me to it.
I can see this getting worse… There seems to be a lot of this “sue first, talk later (maybe)” going around …
Since I don’t use Boards.ie… was the cross posting that large to warrant the scary sight (all the legal threads seem to be MCD related)
I’ve been running a niche sports forum for 6 years now and sadly threats of legal action are ten a penny, and getting more common. That’s not to say we don’t take many of them seriously… we do. Thankfully though, and touch wood, none have gone to court,…. yet.
Of course we don’t have half the audience that boards.ie do and I can only imagine the headaches they have with such threats. I fully sympathise with them and wish them well.
