Replace McWilliams with this guy -A Random Walk

Someone that has a clue, doesn’t need to make up stupid words and says it how it is. Which newspaper will pick this guy up and have him give another view on Irish finance?

    I can’t be 100% certain (having no online account with them- I refuse to pay for Internet content) but I seem to recall the Irish Times running a piece on this guy in the Business/Finance/Tech supplement one Friday a while back.

    It’s fine as sort of financial news and a bit of consumer advocacy I suppose, but there’s no particular insight in it. Some of the thinking is pretty conservative – it’s real ‘God be with the good old days when banks were banks and building societies were building societies’ sort of thing.

    You might not like his style for whatever reason, but every so often McWilliams does hit the ol’ nail on the head and he is a somewhat independent thinker.

    Say what you like about him. tonights Generation programme made a lot of sense.
