    That cheered me up no end. I think I’ll listen to it again. Not. I think I will watch Letterman slagging off John McCain, this must be how McCain is feeling after seeing Letterman.

    If ever I’m asked what my favourite soundtrack is, I always chose Paris, Texas. This bit is such an amazing piece of storytelling. I heard it before I’d seen the film, and the images – the burning trailer, her stuffing the cowbell in her sock – never left me.
