I guess I should have blogged this before the Sunday Times mentioned the company name.
Once the Web Awards are over and done with, Mulley.ie will be the home of Mulley Communications Ltd. Once again built and designed by the amazing John Blackbourn. After much pushing and encouragement (you happy now Keith?) I’ve now left the dayjob and am working for myself. The various training bits and bobs I’ve been doing will hopefully keep me going for the next while. What started off with Business Blogging training has now moved into Online Marketing training, Media/PR training and early next year (after I do some study) I’ll be giving training on Presentation Skills, something I think is really lacking in most companies.
Training is the core of the business with a bit of consulting and mentoring as well but I see myself as a trainer first. Of course there’s the Web Awards sideline and Mulley Communications are also working on two products for the media and advertising industry. More on that in January!
Now back to Web Awards planning…
Damien delighted for you, I’m sure you be a great success. Eoin
Best of luck, Damien. Not that you need it or anything.
Good luck Damien. A smart move, it sounds like.

Presentation skills are sorely lacking in Ireland and I think I will be your first customer for that one

Yay! Go forth and kick some ass!
Good! About time.
Hi Damien !
Good for you!
This humble blog might very well give “Mulley Communications†its first brief: there’s a certain gig we’re after in Merrion Road on Ballsbridge in Dublin and it seems we will need a heavy-hitting expert to persuade the inmates therein that we are most suitable for the job….
Thanks!
Sharon.
Best of luck Damien. Of course the great thing about starting a business in the current environment is that you know about doing things the hard way.
Tom
Best of luck. Looking forward to hearing more about your first IPO, advances from some British investors, the privatisation of Mulley Bros., another PO, the demutualisation of the company, buying back stock and then nationalisation following massive speculation by vulture capitalists.
Congrats Damien,
Will be following this one with interest
Damien Mulley? Doing media, PR and presentation training? This is the guy who likes to pick fights with journalists and bloggers for no apparent reason. I pity his clients.
Congrats, Damien.
Remember – the most important key in powerpoint is “b”. And most people don’t even know what it does…
Congrats! No better feeling than being your own boss.
All the best with it Damien. 🙂
Heard this yesterday but only touching a keyboard now.
I am thrilled to hear of the new venture. With Mulley behind it, it can only be a winner!
Fair play to you Damien, delighted to see you making the jump. You won’t regret it!
Good News! Very deserved!
