A-well-a everybody’s heard about the word w-w-w-word, word, word, w-word’s the word. A-well-a word, word, word, the word is the word, Wordcamp!
35 speakers, some of them lip-smackingly good (from a genuine content distribution perspective), two days, three streams. 50 quid. 50 quid for two days! There’s value for money and there’s this. Plus 200 geeky folks networking. G’wan, go, even for one day.
A bargain. I would gladly pay €50 to see this. Whoever is behind it hat’s off to ya.

Tickets were actually €40 for the first 100; they went up in January. We were very lucky that we had excellent sponsors step up to the plate from the very start to make this all possible and keep costs accessible, and great speakers who said “yes” when all we had was a website and an empty schedule. We literally couldn’t have done it without them.
I cried with laughter when I watched that, really perked up my day!
