Hopefully we’ll something more exciting for the iPad app. Better than viewing it via Safari on iPhone but not by much. €1.59 for the app. Cheap as chips. Offline storing of the stories too. Good!

Looks pretty basic considering all innovation you’d see on the Guardian’s latest iPhone app. The sharing function looks cool though
A step in the right direction however I think they could have made this app as cool as the Guardian’s iPhone App

Big disappointment, really not much better than using http://m.irishtimes.com in Safari on iPhone.
The Guardian app beat’s it hands down
most disappointing app i’ve ever downloaded. if i pay £1.19 (Uk price) for an Irish Times app I expect to be able to read the bloody Irish Times! there’s what, maybe a quarter of the content of the paper available.
I agree with Barry. Its exactly the same as using http://www.m.irishtimes.com which is free. No innovation whatsoever in the application.
