As party political broadcasts go, I think it is one of the best I’ve seen though this is the first of this election that I saw. More importantly I think Pat comes across as caring, considerate and genuine in it. Damnit, I’m even calling him Pat instead of Pat Rabbitte, as if he is a family friend or something. Suckered in? Very American style to the whole thing I must say, but it works. Not saying it means they get my vote though!
And also as gaeilge:
Well I never. Nice to see that I can watch Vincent Browne take Bertie to pieces on the official Noel Dempsey Blog:

And also nice to see I can watch Bertie get mauled on the Dragon’s Den too:

Perhaps the Video widget on the sidebar shouldn’t display any video that is tagged with Fianna Fail?

Meanwhile Noel shows a picture from his new movie “The Sound of Music 2: The Celtic Tiger”:

31 years of age. Ya look well for that! Happy Birthday Conor.
Noticed today that Newstalk also have those fake election posters on lampposts around the train station in Cork. Not had a chance to get a photo though. Cork City hall said they will get fined if the litter warden goes down and sees them.

Remember the ebookers.ie holiday prize, raffled on the night of the Blog Awards? Well the winner on the night was Karen Quigley. ebookers.ie let me know that she’s now chosen the 8 night trip to nice Koh Samui. That’s in Thailand for all of us that are crap at geography. Karen, I want a postcard. ebookers donated the holiday to let bloggers know of their affiliate programme for blogs and websites. The idea is you have a widget on your site and if someone books a flight or hol or travel insurance, you get a cut. I don’t do ads on this site but it might be a handy little widget for those that already do Google and Amazon ads.
Ordered a new domain for myself. www.propagandi.st. I think I’ll make it a directory of PR companies in Ireland. Whatdyathink? 🙂
30 photo prints for just 99 cents. You could just print off 30 copies of you and the Taoiseach. Or other political photos.
Via Burkie, it seems that a clever Galway taxi company has a Bebo profile and is getting a great amount of business from it. Listen and learn folks.

It seems online campaigning does work, according to Eric Byrne.
After years being idle. RateMyTD.com is live!
Via James is this IrishTourism video. I think this is ripe for remixing into something more fun. Any takers?

There’s no way I’m taking Una’s surname in the marriage. “star trek porn” is one of the most popular searches that bring people here as well as “how to get laid”. Lovely internet world we have going on.
See here. The theme is “Communications” I believe.
