May 12th, 2007As party political broadcasts go, I think it is one of the best I’ve seen though this is the first of this election that I saw. More importantly I think Pat comes across as caring, considerate and genuine in it. Damnit, I’m even calling him Pat instead of Pat Rabbitte, as if he is a family friend or something. Suckered in? Very American style to the whole thing I must say, but it works. Not saying it means they get my vote though!

Newstalk “fake”election posters litter Lower Road in Cork
May 11th, 2007Noticed today that Newstalk also have those fake election posters on lampposts around the train station in Cork. Not had a chance to get a photo though. Cork City hall said they will get fined if the litter warden goes down and sees them.

Remember the ebookers.ie holiday prize, raffled on the night of the Blog Awards? Well the winner on the night was Karen Quigley. ebookers.ie let me know that she’s now chosen the 8 night trip to nice Koh Samui. That’s in Thailand for all of us that are crap at geography. Karen, I want a postcard. ebookers donated the holiday to let bloggers know of their affiliate programme for blogs and websites. The idea is you have a widget on your site and if someone books a flight or hol or travel insurance, you get a cut. I don’t do ads on this site but it might be a handy little widget for those that already do Google and Amazon ads.
