Signal Orange – anti Iraq war site. Well not so much anti but a way to highlight the total disregard to life that the Bush administration has for their own soldiers. It’s a good idea. Get a cause noticed by wearing bright orange t-shirts which are highly visible. Get everyone to turn up at any and all events where theres press coverage. Before long people will know what the t-shirts represent. This could be done in Ireland for some other campaign…

From here.: John Frusciante’s fourth solo album, Shadows Collide with People, is a scatterbrained, eclectic tour de force and a joy to listen to. His guitar work, so sharp and funky for the Red Hot Chili Peppers, mellows for his solo work, and to beautiful effect. Frusciante gets experimental, as he has on his last three solo albums, but this time it really works. This album, though encompassing a wide variety of styles and genres, is ultimately rock music made very, very prettily.
I totally agree. This is an undiscovered gem of a record. I really really like it and has the best opening song on an album that I’ve heard in a while.
This L.E.D. Mirror is available from Suck for the very reasonable sum of £300. There’s some lovely stuff available from them. I might just buy on of their t-shirts. Always nice to walk around with a T-Shirt that has “SUCK” on it.

The new Nokia 3220 phone has some fine funky features. Air Texting allows you to type in a message and as you wave your phone back and forth it spells out the message with L.E.D.s on the back of the phone.
The phone also has motion sensors and vibration settings to allow you to have more fun playing games. I guess force feedback is one feature and tilting your phone will move avatars in games. One person commenting on this news was guessing there’d be some interesting hacks for this. I look forward to seeing them.
Found a link on Donncha’s site about a good way to start running called the Couch to 5k running plan. You start off walking and then you run a bit then walk then run. Within 2 months you should be able to run about 3 miles without killing yourself. This was the plan I’ve been looking for to get myself fit.
