I’m going to reg a few more .us domains. They’re cheap and you can have fun with them. Spamalicio.us would be a cool one I think. Pecario.us is taken as are loads of potentially funny ones. I have 3 now thought that I’m going for. Forgot my godaddy.com password and account id so I’ll buy them at home. Will post what they are once I reg them.

I own Mulley.net , Mulley.org , Mulley.info and now Mulley.us.
I’d like to get Mulley.com too but we’ll see. I want to make Mulley.org into an online Mulley Family Genealogy website or something where the various mulleys can go online and track their roots. I have some ideas for a genealogy website that I haven’t seen on the other ones. When I eventuallu perfect my php skills I’ll launch into it. Meanwhile Mulley.org will just have a forum where people can talk.
I’m delighted too in the fact that Mulley.net is showing up in 3rd place when you do a search for “Mulley”. I’d like Mulley.org to reach 1st place once I do some work on it. I’m confident I can get it to work. Or else get Kevin to do it.
Was looking at Jois blog today. Theres a cool new resource page that lists the online status of #joiito chan regulars as well as their blogs and most recent entries from said blog. UPDATE: And here is how he did it.
What I’d love from a News Aggregator is to have different categories which are stored in different files. So I can have a tab for rss feeds from #joiito regulars, a tab for all the Irish bloggers out there and a tab for all the other stuff I look at. Having them in different files would make it easier to distribute to others and you could make some nice blog rolly thingies too.
Was looking at the Archives of Elegant Hack and saw a book review for The Design of Sites: Patterns, Principles, and Processes for Crafting a Customer-Centered Web Experience Looks like an interesting enough book. Adding to my ever expanding wishlist.
Ok, time to get some clothes on, open the blinds and step into the world. Oh and get some food.

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time I read this book going over to the UK on Monday. Great book. Great read. Very interesting idea. I highly recommend it.

For those that want to come across as clever and big, why not have a resource like dictionary.com where you input a word and the website will spit back a bigger word which means the same thing.
I know lots of people that take forever to post on website while they search for that big word. This would allow them to post quicker and make the web run faster and fill it with the thoughts of idiots more efficiently. Meow. Saucer of milk for table 666.

Wifi Networking News mentions a Boston Globe Article on Wireless Hot Zones payed for by a bunch of businesses in one area.
Makes sense really that a bunch of businesses would get together and sponsor/pay for a wireless hot spot or hot zone. Its a good way of getting people to come in. Kinda like the way they have stores validate your parking (although thats not a common practice in Ireland).
For places like Paul Street in Cork with pubs and cafes it would be a great idea to get people into your area. What happens though when every area starts offering this ? They’ll have to offer something extra right ? Or will being first to offer it allow you to get ahed of the competition enough that they can’t catch up.
Saying that, theres not enough areas in Cork as it is where you can sit out and enjoy a cup of coffee or a pint although thats begining to change and as Cork City Centre becomes more pedestrianised we mght see more of it.
